In the evening I seem to get indigestion a lot. Sometimes when I go to sleep in middle of night I wake up with a burning sensation in my chest. Sometimes it is also in my mouth and noise it is very uncomfortable.
This can be quite common after gallbladder removal. Are you eating a bland, low fat diet? Try antacids and milk which are good for an upset stomach. Try a food diary to see if a food(s) is the culprit. Have you spoken to your doctor about it?
Probably not on as bland a diet now as I was just after the op a year ago as done in Feb 2019. Had hoped to expand diet by now but maybe go back to bland diet again. Do need to lose weight and exercise more so will get back to better habits.
Thank you for your reply.

Best of luck.
it could be Hiatus Hernia. i have had one for many years with those symptoms. i take Lanzaprazole medication which does relief it a lot.
iI have very recently had my gallbladder removed and have noticed
that my hernia has been slightly worse and might need the dosage of my medication changing.
A hiatus Hernia would surely have been noticed during tests for gall bladder
mine was diagnosed after having an endoscopy. My gallbladder problem was diagnosed by ultrasound scan.
