I suffer from anxiety and have been suffering from chest pains for a while, the ecg and blood work always come back normal and the ER doctor pressed my right side abdomen which hurt a little and ordered an ultrasound which showed a 7 mm mobile gallstone this was about 2 years ago.
I have been several times to the er with chest pain worrying its a heart attack along with shortness of breath maybe 15 times and always worry about the gall stone getting stuck, I’m not sure if its my anxiety that causes some of the pain and not the gall bladder issue.
I got referred to a surgeon who suggested since i was a young person male in my 30’s i should just get it removed. I declined since my pain subsided and think it was more anxiety since my blood and urine tests are always normal. I had two ultrasounds since and one said stone not visible and next time the ultrasound said a 7mm mobile stone
I took a second opinion and the surgeon ordered a HIDA scan, the hida showed my ejection fraction was 25% and did not mention any gall stone and said billary dyskinesia , but the surgeon said the choice whether to have surgery was up to me. When the technician did a hida scan i got an ensure drink instead of cck, im wondering if this could impact my results.
I feel pain in the area sometimes and pain straight across my upper abdomen from left to right and also suffer from anxiety and always think about my gall bladder and stone getting stuck, recently i felt pain in the area and also chest and not sure if this is causing it or not. The surgeon told me there is a possibility that the surgery may not relieve my pain.
