After the surgery, my semen will not anymore exit from my penis. Now, what is the procedure to let my semen exit the normal way, that is thru the penis?
From what my urologist told me before my Plasma Button Vaporization once the procedure is performed it would be very likely that I would not have normal ejaculations anymore. As far as I know, it is permanent.
There is nothing you can do. If you were worried about your ejaculation you should not have had the surgery I bet the doctor told you everything will be the same and suger coated the rest. They tell us we don't need it at our age because we are not having kids but we still want it That is why I had a urolift over 2 years ago no side effect. At 61 they will never take take away from me Take care Ken
They should have warned you it could be permanent retro-ejaculation. When I had this temporarily while taking Tamsulosin, I found orgasm with intercourse felt much the same, but very different and unsatisfactory during solo sex. Luckily, my condition changed and Tamsulosin is no longer needed.
If you want children you have to extract semen and make an artificial fertilization
Sorry mate,
after Turp it is extremely likely the patient will suffer from retrograde ejaculation ( your semen will flush out when you pee) and is a permanent condition. As ken says the urologist does not always give his patient sufficient information to allow them to make an informed choice. Many doctors are supprised that you even want a sex life after 60, just wait for their own years to advance.
