I had Gallbladder surgery

I had surgery yestersay and today I'm having a lot of pain. Instead of 4 incisions, I have 5 bc it was hard to remove. It hurts to move at all. I also get pain in my leg, off and on. I'm diabetic on top of it and my blood sugars were in the 100s, now there over 300 sense the surgery. Just want to see what to do or if anyone else has had these problems. I'm just so sore and didn't expect it to hurt this bad. Im only 22, Please help

PATIENCE. It’s been 1 day. You’re going to hurt for a few days for sure. I had 5 incisions. You’re entire body will hurt especially with the gas they inflate in you. Rest. Rest. Rest. 💜

It will get better. I had mine out 3 weeks ago. Taking a probiotic (I like P8) will help with the discomfort along with the pain pills.

Still really early days as other have said. Be patient. It does get better. I had mine out about four months ago. First two weeks were a bit uncomfortable and then takes a while for wounds to heal. Take it easy for 6-8 weeks. I started to feel loads better after 8 weeks but I still watch what I eat.

Okay good to know. I'm at the hospital now bc I feel really dizzy and light headed. My doctor only gave me enough pain pills for like 2 days so im worried im still gonna be in a lot of pain.

Okay. I will try that

Okay and Ive been sleeping alot.

Oh no! Are you ok? Get some rest.

Yes thanks for asking. Just really dehydrated they said. I'm home now, gonna try and sleep

I had mine out on June 27, and the first three days were uncomfortable. Then it went away gradually.

Take plenty of rest to let incision sites heal. Also, try to walk for 10 minutes every one hour to help blood circulation.

Ok. I've been wearing the ted stockings
