So sorry Kathy! I had a fusion on my left First joint from a fall and its been 7 weeks yesterday. Sad news , it still hurts . Some days milder than others.   I think that is normal . You are right at the beginning... hang on and keep positive!

Rose , when you say it hurts does that mean lt hurts all the time or at night or when you put weight on it?  I’m almost three weeks, had a new cast put on after two weeks and still not weight bearing.   I don’t have much pain but of course I’m still taking pain meds but not much.  

I just want to know if anybody is happy with their fusion after 10 weeks?
