I have a group of veruccae on the heel of one foot now for about two years. Ive tried bazuka gel - it didnt even touch them. Ive tried abrasives - no joy. Sometimes the area is very painful to walk and then other times you forget they are there. But is really embarrasing when on holiday sunbathing, you feel like you have to hide your foot all the time because the area doea look quite swollen and is discoloured. Im scared of going to the doctor or chiropodist as you hear stories of having them 'burned' off!! Has anyone got any suggestions as to something that could help get rid of them
thanks

I am informed by my granny that below the hard skin /black spots lies the "heart" of the virus and the jels and other ointments rarely reach there due to the rough skin and therefore the upper areas clear leaving the "heart" to regrow. Suggestion she made was to apply heat to the affected area to eliminate.Ensure the heat touches only the affected area. I have tried it on my daughter with fresh bay leaf last night the black holes or spots look less.
