I have a hard painful lump on the left side of my clitoris

So i am always checking my vag area and i have noticed a lump on my clit the second day of my period, did not give it much thought even though it had been tender and hurt. I thought it would have went away by the end of my period but it is still there and i have been googling and seeing the worst case scenarios of vulva cancers

. i am going to check with mu doctor Monday as it is now the weekend and the office is closed. But i am just worried and paranoid and want to know if anyone has had similar experiences. It is a small flesh coloured lump about half pea size and it hurt when pocked or rub.

Its not cancer, i know that much. I think its an infectious bump.
