I have been diagnosed with a Choledochal Cyst

And i am getting a lot of pain in my right side at the back! is anyone else experiencing this or diagnosed with Choledochal cyst 

If so i would like to hear from you ?

Hi. Are the doctors planning to operate to remove the cyst.

Hi Janet, I have just been diagnosed with a choledochal cyst and have an appointment in a months time to see a consultant. I don't have any symptoms but my liver function tests were higher than normal so had an MRI to check for gallstones but it showed this cyst instead. I just wondered if you have had any treatment for yours and if so what it was. 

Thankyou and hope you don't mind me asking, its just that i'm a bit worried as some of the things i've read are not very encouraging

I have a 4.7 cm type 1 choledichal cyst and I a doctor has recomended to have it removed surgically. Has anyone here had the surgery?  Doctor made it sound like there is a chance I could develop cancer, but also a chance I never will, therefore the surgery is my choice.
