I have a lump in my stomach about an inch above my belly button to the right its not a massive lump and doesn't hurt the first dr I went to see said it was a hernia but one day it was painful so went to see another doctor who said it was a muscle tear but in the meantime I was waiting to see a consultant about my so called hernia and he thinks it's my gallbladder so I have got an ultrasound next week. This lump occasionally has shooting pains and can be uncomfortable, has anyone else had anything similar?

I actually have both a hernia and gallstones, I think a few others on here have the both too, so it is possible it could actually be both, hopefully the scan will give you a more definitive diagnosis x
I have a hiatal hernia causes some gas pain etc took a lot of scans to find it
I would say that the lump is not your gallbladder or hiatus hernia,I have had gallbladder problems but nothing like you describe!The ultrasound will give a better idea, good luck.
