I had a hard time for awhile and work, my moms 6yr anniversary when she passed and then losing one of our animals all took a toll on me...I went back to the dr cause I was either crying or yelling...she out me in a new med which I have taking 15 yrs ago but this time I feel horrible...more anxious, headaches, dont wanna do anything but sleep so I am going to make another appointment but has anyone else had these problems with effexer

For me the first 2 weeks of starting meds was always tough but once I got through that period they helped greatly.

I just feel this pill isn't helping and I noticed that at night I feel more normal and not like a zombie as I do in the day

Hi Perhaps you could disucuss this with your dr and he/she may review the medication. No harm in discussing with your dr just to be sure

The anniversary of a death and that of a pet can be very harrowing, although given time you should be able to move on.

If you have taken a medication fifteen years ago does not mean you will find it suitable now. However if you have just started taking your medication, allow around six weeks for those to work

Just came back from the Dr she put me back on my other meds...she did agree that the effexer was giving me more anxiety and the headaches.. so hopefully I can get back to normal
