I have been on a combination of 6mg Doxasocin together with Ramipril and Amlopdipine for several years now. This has proved to be extremely effective at controlling my BP. I feel that this kind of combination therapy is definitely the way forward rather then huge doses of a single drug. Don't let hypertension get you down - live life to the full!!

Fantastic, it is important to live life to the full when ever possible.
I have started doxazosin just a week ago and having several symptoms with it, some already mentioned by others such as dizziness, cough/irritational coughs, pains all over my body including stomach pain. At present I am hanging in there to give it some settling down time. Funny enough we are on the same medications but what are the doses of your Ramipril and Amlodopine. I am on 10mg. Ramipril twice daily, 10mg Amlo. daily and 4mg of the 'D' and also 40mg of Ferusemide daily.
