i have been on nitrazepam now for 4 days and im getting no affect whats so ever

I am bound to ask, 'then why are you taking it?' As addiction is common with this drug and long term use can cause changes in neuro-transmitters I would advise that you talk to the prescribing doctor about this - or try reducing it to see if you suffer side-effects.
i also have been on them now for 2 weeks and they have had no effect at all when the prescribed dose is taken so its clearly a fault with the medicine its self
I understand. Nitrazepam has done nothing for me either, nor has diazepam or temazepam- my only explanation is that my adrenlin / severe depression overides all of it's powers.
The only vague successes I've had has been with Zolpidem and an over the counter drug (in the USA) called diphenhydramine.
