I have been think i have Fibromyalgia

I think I have Fibromyalgia. I been to my first Dr. and got tested and the test came back normal. I kept telling them I was getting headaches and all sometimes it felt tingling in the back of my head on the left side. M shoulders, neck hurts, my arms, my hips, and my head always seem to hurt. I take meds for that.

Hi I have just been told I possibly have fibromyalgia, after blood tests I was found to have a bad vit d deficiency and also low folic acid so I am on treatment for that. I am in pain everywhere so what your describing sounds very much like it. I do sympathise with you and hope you get your answers soon x

You would probably need to see a Rheumatologist Rhetta. They really need to know what to look for to correctly diagnose FM. It could also be stress related which can cause all kinds of similar symptoms. I see a Remedial Massage Therapist when I have too much pain in my hip, so maybe this could help you as well. Maggie

I am in remission from my Iron Deficiency and I was getting b12 shots at the time but I am better now on that. I am taking vitamin D because I am deficient in that but I done test since then because I been having burning pain in my legs.

I been to therapy for my my shoulders, neck, and head all they said it was from posture.I have bipolar, Ptsd, anxiety, panic disorder and the last 3 things are from when I was 15years old I was raped. I suffer from night mares as well. I get told its all in my head. . about t the time I was raped I suffer from mono as well

Wow! You certainly are dealing with a lot. I'm so sorry for your past traumatic experience. Even a close call is devestating. You never really get over something like that but you do learn coping skills. No wonder you have PTSD, anxiety and other related stress symptoms. But just remember Rhetta that you are not alone. Millions of women the world over have suffered such a horrible experience. They have survived and you will also. Plus millions the world over suffer with Bipolar. It is very a very common disorder today. I have friends who have Bipolar and other mental issues and they function quite well dispite these challenges. They marry, have children, some hold down jobs. So there is light at the end of the tunnel sweetie.  You will cope as well Rhetta. You are never alone in your struggles. Always remember that and try to find others who are dealing with the same issues. You can be a source of encouragement and support to one another. Maggie xx

May I ask you something? When I told my doctor that I think I have FM. She started poking my in certain areas of my body and told me thats how they find out if that. How people have 'm. Is that true?

Well sweetie I am no authority on how they determine it but I was sent to a specialist some 35 years ago and he was apparently a Rheumatologist. He did many muscle tests on me among others and took into account all my symptoms and the results were conclusive. I think this doctor was way ahead of his time to have hit the nail on the head. He told me it would get worse over time and he was right. But I have been able to manage it Holistically. Vitamins, massage, homeopathy, diet, etc. I would get another opinion Rhetta to put your mind at ease. x

Ok because this my second primary doctor I went to and I had to leave the first primary because her assistant said I was hypochondriac. I will just ask if I can see rheumatologist.
