hiiii, iam new here!! two months ago i had a bad sore throat, did not think anything of it at the time. the next day i had a sharp pain in my throat so i looked and noticed 2 small white bumps on left tonsil only. went to my doctors, he gave me amoxicillin and sent me on my way. that did not help! so i go back again. he gives me bactrim. that does nothing! i finally go see an ent, he tells me that my acid reflux and allergies are causing it. once again no improvement! finally was in so much pain i went to the ER where they finally swabbed me for strep and did a monospot. all NEGATIVE!! back to the ent i went where he looked in my throat and thought it can be fungal. so iam on diflucan right now, and the burning swallowing pain has subsided. BUT the frickin WHITE ELEVATED BUMPS ARE STILL THERE AND ARE STILL CAUSING ME PAIN!!! Iam out of IDEAS! HElP!?!
