I was due to have my THR but it has been put on hold until I have an Echo done on my heart. I've found out I need this because I have CPTV. Has anybody else had this problem and does anyone know if it will affect my surgery taking place
What is CPTV. Hope it doesn't put your op off for too long....they are maybe being just very cautious!!
Hiya Crissy basically its a irregular heartbeat and in a way Im pleased I know what I need an echo for. It depends on the echo but it can be treated with beta blockers and I think they are being cautious and Id rather it was dealt with cause my surgeon says hes never lost anyone before and I don't intend being his first lol x

Theyve said theyre going to depending on what the echo shows, it can't be too bad cause I feel ok and all my other tests were great
