I have nasal blockage but not much mucus and its worse of a night. Does the stomach acid inflame the nasal passages and sinus causing the stuffy nose. Any suggestions to helping it clear up or is it just time, once the acid is stopped rising with meds.
For years I thought I had polyps in my nose as I always had one or both nostrils blocked and nasty smell. I had fundiplication a year ago today and my nose is clear and nasty funny smell gone.. 😁

I am suffering with the same problem, I get a lot of head pressure too,along with lightheadedness on standing, but not enough for me to fall over. do you get that? I've been referred from my ent specialist, to go for a ct scan to check to see if my sinuses are drawing properly. Not sure where we will go from there though.
Mine started about 2 months ago with stuffed up nose but not much ti blow out. My GP was rubbish so in the end I paid 150 pounds to see an ent for a consultation. He put endoscope up nose and could see acid in nasal passage. I have to change diet to stop reflux and take Omerprazone tabs daily. Do your sinus under cheeks feel cold as ice sometimes.
It doesn't feel cold, just pressure over the bridge of my nose sometimes in my jaw, and at the top of my head! It comes and goes, but it's very frustrating. I've been suffering for over a year now. I don't get the heart burn though, it's the sore throats and claggy throat I get, and now this sinus pain! I've had a few throats infections too! I just want to be my normal self again😞
Yes most definitely - it can go into your lungs as well as ear, nose and throat. I have had a specific test for this and it showed this. I have recently had fundoplication surgery - the surgeon said that the ent symptoms take longer to respond. So far it has alleviated them to a small degree. I am generally feeling better in myself. It was affecting me so much even sending my blood pressure up in bad times, I went ahead with the surgery, so far even though early days it was worth it. thought better now than later on as the surgeon said that the lung situation would only get worse as I got older. I am 63

I'm not sure of the name of the test - but it was devised by Prof Gregory Falk in Sydney. It involves drinking some radioactive liquid (tasteless and colourless) - then a few scans over the next couple of hours.

i searched entire internet for this but there is no perfect medicine for it .. then one of my relative told me to visit naadi vaid (ayurvadic pulse reader)
he gave me home remedy for it and surprisingly it worked like a charm , i felt like a new life .. after struggling for months my nose blockage was gone and no more heart burn or acidity
here is a remedy which he gave me ,
mix
100 grams turmeric , cumin and jaggery
mix it untill it looks like a powder
now every morning.. before drinking water or eating anything . with empty stomach , take one teaspoon of this powder .. then after 10 mins you can have your breakfast
trust me it works like magic , within 3 to 4 days blockage will go and everything will be fine
remember take only one spoon every morning
it will take some days and you might feel nothing is changing but in few days , everything will be ok
i suffered a lot and found something which help me to get rid of it , that is why i am posting it here ,it helped me a lot , i hope it will be helpful for others too
