I have had my pins/screws removed on the 20 th June. I am in more pain than when I had them in .I get sharp stabbing pains . I am having physio at the hospital. I still have my plate in my leg.
I hope your pain dissipates each coming day. Have u talked to the dr.?
Hi Lauren, I think what you may be feeling is the recovery from the new incision healing as well as the bone healing (filling) where the screws were. When do you go for you follow up to get stiches removed? At that point they should xray to see if all is still in place. What was your original surgery? Are you walking? And if you don't mind me asking, why did they only remove the pin and screws and not the plate?
I had a plate and pin in my ankle and leg . I had the pins removed on 20 th June 2016 . I am still in pain.
