only had 3 partners since 1984! my present one (5 years) has been round the block- does it mean that he’s been unfaithful to me recently? Realised I had it yesterday- been for test. I feel really ill too - fever, aching- I’m livid - should I be cross with him?

Firstly the HSV II virus can stay dormant for years before any symptoms show (if they ever), it does not necessarily mean that your current partner has been unfaithful though, have you spoken to him about your recent diagnosis? Does he have symptoms? Sometimes outbreaks can be so minimal its mistaken for a yeast infection or ingrown hairs…
Speak to your current partner & take it from there.
