I have just recently had a tummy bug and was feeling very sick - i had been on other anti sickness drugs but they did not seem to work. my doctor said to try Cylizine, and they did not agree with me. it did stop me from feeling sick but it made me feel as if i had been drugged. i was very sleepy and had blurred vision. i am becoming very low and depressed. when i went back to the doctors i told her my side effects and she put me on another drug called prochlorperazine which is a member of cyclizine family. before taking these drugs i looked on the internet at the side effects and they have the same. i do not think that either of these are very good drugs. They made me feel worse than what i already was and they made me very depressed.

i was very much suprized to see much more people with the same side effects as myself i have had a very bad cold for a few days including very bad vomiting yet again i have been prescribed valoid i cannot and will not be taking this again i ended up being sicker had a high sweats thought i was floating around the room and had to take my self to bed as i felt completely out of the picture and drugged up i feel this tablet is not mointored enough re side effects and think if there was a survey of some sort done it would be found to have a higher level of side effects than recorded.

hello after reading up on these tablets i can understand why i sleep so much i take 150 mgs per day to help cut the sickness from heart meds which make you so ill and headachy you want to just stop taking the lot and risk it i am 48 and for two years have had the life of basically a junkie there should be more warnings on the drugs they are after all supposed to help you .

I was prescribed this for Labyrinthitis after trying two other drugs (betahistine and one beginning with \"p\"?) which had no effect. Cyclizine definitely hightened my symptoms. It makes me feel spaced out (more so), tired and shakey. I think this drug needs more research, it seems to cause half of the symptoms it's supposed to relieve.
