Also i am a one for bread, but i'm trying sooooo hard to cut it out especially white bread,After reading all these comments i wonder if dairy produceset's me off especially milk! Does any one belch for England? it drives me mad and can be so embarressing, and my tummy makes the most odd noises, ANY advice would be gratfully recieved. Wish there was a magic cure but alas..... we live in hope

No you are not alone! Far from it. I have suffered with IBS for many years now, and usually any stresses trigger it off and find me doubled up on the loo for half an hour at a time.
Recently though I have not had a problem but following a virus it has meant I am like it every day. Doc says I have inflamed colon and has prescribed mebeverine to relax it.
Only to take for 4 weeks though. If no improvement then back for blood tests and a look with the camera :?
At least my doc takes it seriously. White bread per sae might not be a problem but you may be gluten and/or wheat intolerant. Might be good to keep a food diary :?:
Cheers
Cutting out dairy wont cure it but it will certainly help a lot, it has for me
I used to burp all the time too, it was horrible, I found I was allergic/intolorent to wheat and dairy. I think it is the wheat that causes the burping as if I ever eat it by accident the problem returns! (along with stomach cramps, toilet problems, chronic fatigue...), the dairy gives me ear-ache, headaches and eczema. It's definatly worth a try :D
