I have noticed skin coloured / white lumps on head of penis

I have noticed these lumps / spots that have been appearing on the head of my penis, but were completely painless / not itchy. Today I have noticed that one of them has been knocked and bled ever so slightly, it now looks irratated. Ive not had any pain or discomfort urinating... Could it be genital warts or herpes or is it nothing that I should be worrying about? I have had the same sexual partner for 2 years and was tested for STIS just before we started having sex.

Hey Patrick

Good to hear you were taking care of yourself before you started anything. That shows your a good guy.

If you have been together for 2 years you should be okay but do you still have safe sex. Do you use a condom. It could be anything you never know. I feel your best thing to do for the both of you is to see a doctor and find out what it is for sure.

Then you could get the medicine to take care of it…Ken

This looks like the skin is breaking down and it is not properly repairing itself. You also have dry dead skin cells on the head of your penis, this is linked to the wrong kind of penile hygiene. You need to wash with water only, cover-up the entire head of your penis when you are taking a shower by drawing the foreskin as far forward away from the body as you can. When you have thoroughly rinsed all the soaps and other cleansers off, expose the head, rub gently with the inside of the hand, then pat dry immediately you get out of the shower. Remember, there are ‘friendly bacteria’ naturally present on the head of the penis and these are killed-off by too much exposure to cleaning agents. As Ken alludes too, if you are a regular user of condoms, the stuff on the inside of them can have a severe dermatological impact on the head and foreskin area of the penis.
As for the lumps themselves, this could be part of an overall dermatological condition you have, or it could be an specific skin condition. Neither of which are sexually related - only, regular sexual activity / masturbation may worsen the symptoms. There is the possibility that this develops into a severe condition, so as Ken also suggests, either a Doctor, or better still, a Dermatologist who deal with Genital related conditions would be the specialist to go to see.
