I have oral HSV 2.

I just noticed small white bumps on the back of my throat. I was diagnosed with HSV2 two days ago around my vagina and rectum(never had anal sex, got spread by touching).

I had the sore throat and super swollen lymph nodes that are finally going away, I’m on meds for the outbreak on my genitals. I didn’t have the white bumps 3 days ago when I was sharing food with my 1 year old. She was eating off my fork and drinking a little out of my cup.

What is the possibility that I could have spread it to her?

I’m freaking out, cause I don’t wanna be a bad parent for accidentally spreading it to hersad

Are you sure that the oral bumps are even herpes could just be a bacterial infection?

You are not a bad parent at all, please be calm, and consult with a doctor about her, many people have hsv, nothing to worry.

I’m not 100% sure.

The way it got spread was the guy I had sex with, we were switching from us having sex to me going down on him.

So I was thinking the bumps would have to be the HSV2. It was spread by him rubbing his fingers inside me, to the outside of me, to my rectum. I just don’t wanna ruin my daughters life.

I don’t want to ruin her life.

And if she has to be on meds for break outs I would never forgive myself.

If someone have hsv and doctors give him or her meds it would be for about 2 weeks not for a life long.
