I think you should see a doctor to get a diagnosis so you know what you are dealing with.

does it have a ring around it? circular in form? if so, i had a similar issue went to the dr and thru told me i had a fungal infection. they recommended i get the over the counter ringworm use it for 10 days and if it persisted to go back. i have kaiser so i didnt follow up bc they make you go in circles. its taken 7 months for it to go away. so i wonder if thats what your case is .
