I have stomach pain in the morning and before meals, constant bloating and soar back muscles. Help

Hello,

I'm a 40 year old male, I don't smoke, drink or do illegal or script drugs. I had pancreatitus almost 2 1/2 years ago. After my GI doctor ran evry test there after, all blood work tested normal and said these symtoms will go away. I wake up evry morning with stomach pain above my belly button and below my lower chest. It gets better after I get up and eat something but it never really goes away completly. My back mucsles always seem to be soar even when I don't do anything physical for several days. I've had almost every test done, scans, xrays, 2 endoscopies, 1 colonoscopy, blood work and everything comes back normal. I've been tested several times for parasites and worms-  still nothing. I've taken digestive enzimes, antacid pills, antihystamine pills. I've tried every diet out there palio, no meats, organic, gluten free, no soy, no dairy, no grains.

GI doc thinks maybe IBS or muscle and or nerve issues, he doesn't know. He's just throwing those ideas out there.

Any thoughts or solutions?

Sorry that you are dealing with this. Exactly how long have you've been going through this?

Maybe IBS. Do you have change of bowel habit? Did the pancreatitis go away?

For about 2 1/2 years now, it's frustrating and depressing.

No change in bowel habit, remains regular and normal. Yes, the pancreatitus went away with several blood tests showing normal levels of lipase and emilase. Also, had 2 endoscopies afterwards as well. It's strange, bloating, stronger than normal hunger pains in between meals, and soar back muscles.  Very frustrating

Were you tested for celiac and h pylori?  Was your gallbladder checked?  IBS can also cause back pain.

Yes, I've had 2 seperate h pylori tested negative. Also, had gallblader, liver and kidneys checked. Maybe IBS, but I don't have any constipation, diarrhea, and I have consistant movements everyday, once a day.

Have you tried a food diary to see if a particular food is the cause?

Yes, I have a log of my diet and really what I eat doesn't seem to make a difference. I temporarily feel good when I just eat something, right after a hard work out (adrenaline numbs the discomfort), or during and right after a professional back massage.

I have the exact same symptoms, the only weird things is so does my partner and my neighbours, so I've started to think perhaps it's something in the water system, perhaps lead, bought a home test kit so will find out.

Try anxiety medication , anxiety and stress makes these situations worse , believe me , I've had everything you've had done and more , with only the same results . So good luck try more fruit and lean meats , hope it helps you out.

home test kit was negative for lead - we'll see what the blood test says.

The test kit did seem to be borderline for pesticides

Maybe stress is the cause if a work out and a massage distracts you from the pain.

I also had a heavy metal test to see if that was the problem. Everything came back normal, except Mercury levels were a little high. It makes sense because I eat a lot of fish and sea food.
