



Hi Mike, so yes most likely what you have done when you shaved is to take the top off one of the many hair follicles in the area and it is taking time to heal.
You did right to disinfect it - as long as you used something like liquid antiseptic that is intended to treat cuts and grazes of the skin, rather than anything stronger?(typical brands are tcp or dettol)
A plaster is not required as this may inhibit natural healing.
It may be an idea to switch to using a tiny amount of antiseptic cream as these have skin healing properties to help you skin to recover better than it currently is - apply once daily until the skin looks similar to the skin surrounding this
