I went to the doctor for what I thought was a infected in grown hair and then my doctor told me it does not look like in grown hair that it's herpies. I must of just broke down and I just have so many questions like how I got it I've only had 5 boyfriends completely faithful to them now wondering who gave it me how to I prevent much outbreaks and how do I know when I'm getting one??. Also does it honestly get better or do you still feel dirty cuse you have it..
You're not alone. I'm 28 yrs old now. I found out I had it about 3 years ago. It killed me just like you're saying. But you can't look at it like you're a s****y person. S**t happens and you gotta look past it. It doesn't make you any different of a person. Herpes can stay low key for a long time so it's very hard to tell where it came from. I hardly get breakouts but when I do it's pretty mild sometimes. There's a cream you can get from your doctor to help this. And your other question about if you know when you're about to have a breakout. It's kinda hard to tell. There's no warning. I'm honestly surprised doctors can come up with all this medication for anything in the world but there's no cure for this? I hate the government but that's a whole other story. Anyone can get herpes. Faithful or not. Multiple partners or not. The statistic is like 1 in 6 people have it and most don't even know. They say it's not a big deal but it has a really bad sigma unfortunately. Taking vitimans (I have heard) work well to help with the symptoms. Like L-lysine and vitamin d and b12 helps I believe I read. Eating healthy and getting enough sleep. Not stressing yourself.
Agree. Most of the people do not know that they have herpes since most of them do not have symptoms at all.
Did the doctor just look at it and say you have herpes, or did a swab test prove that you have it? Because if the former, mistakes can be made and I would never accept such a diagnosis without a reliable test to back it up.
