Im 18 and I have recently found out my boyfriend gave me herpes. We have only been dating for 2 months...I'm so upset I don't know what to do im so hurt. My boyfriend said he didn't know he had it. He seem genuinely upset and felt bad that I know have it. I don't know what to do or what to feel. PLEASE HELP
Do you know if you have 1 or 2? It is very common to bass it through oral sex. 80% of people w genital herpes don't even know they gave it... I know its hard now, but it will get better. Hang in there cupcake. :-)
Your BF most likely knew he carried the virus and there are pp who carry it so ever having had a breakout which means he may not have known.
hopefully you can come to terms w this, it's a hard life adjustment

Well I have 6 gfs that have heroes and only one has experienced rejection. All of them are married but 1, who has had it a decade and never had rejection from it. 4 have had multiple vaginal births w herpes as well, it's not the end of the world. Do not stay w someone, just because you're H+. It is normal to feel shat you're feeling right now, but it will pass. Keep in mind, you coukd of used condoms and still caught it. Do not beat yourself up over this.
