For years now I have suffered with pains in the right side of my stomach, been in and out of hospital loads of times with suspected appendicitis and so on, always turned out to be a UTI. Never had any other tests done apart from ultrasounds to see if anything else is going on but always clear, apart from once they found an ovarian cyst which has now gone on its own. For the past 2 months when my period ends 2 days later I start getting clear discharge with blood in it? Never happened before it's a new thing but last 2 periods this has happened. I get horrible period like pains along with the bloody discharge when this happens. My periods are always very heavy and very painful. Please if anyone has any advice it would be great as I just don't know what is going on!!

You don't mention how old you are...this can happen a bleed or bloody discharge after a period ends....you didn't mention how long your period lasts for...i wouldn't worry too much about it, but if it continues and you get pain and feel there is something not quite right go see your doctor..after all it's your body and you know if something isn't right.....best wishes...
Hi sorry I am 22 years old and my periods last around 5 days, it's just never happened before apart from the last 2 months my doctor was talking about doing keyhole surgery to have a look inside with a telescope to see if anything is going on but they said they can't just do it so quick it has to go on for a while thanks
Ask your doctorr to refer you to a gynaecologist.
