I've been in pain for over ten weeks now. I've had headaches non stop and my anxiety made me think I had a brain tumor. Just recently had a CT brain scan to rule out any serious medical conditions and it came back clear. Still my head hurts, my scalp feels like someone is pulling and pressing on it, it's so uncomfortable and so sore. And my upper back and shoulders are in so much pain non stop. What's going on with me? I'm over this!
And keep getting numbness in my left hand sometimes?
All stuff I've experienced with anxiety, its horrible, but its all part of it, unless there's anything more serious going on which I doubt now that you've had the ct, you need to try to calm down and chill out, try doing something, reading, gym, cycling, swimming, try and relax .☺
Hi Tayla these are all anxiety symptoms, basically the head sensation is the small blood vessels in the scalp contracting and it feels like your scalp goes tight and sore, uour body just diverts blood supply to the muscles so constricts parts where the supply isn't really needed so much ie scalp, digestive system and body extremities such as end of fingers. It's biological and will do you no harm at all.
Your shoulders and upper back are painful because they get pumped up for action so it's like a work out for them and as you know if you exercise muscles you've not used before they hurt!
