I'm only 22, I have suffered from panic attacks and anxiety maybe a year ago and it hadn't fully gone but it has gotten considerably better.
However I've been ridiculously pale for maybe the last 2/3 years. I've always been kind of pale but I feel I've got alot paler (if that's a word) and have really dark bags under my eyes.
About a year ago when I had my panic attacks I had a chest xray, blood tests for blood count, iron deficiency and thyroid etc and it was all normal, I had a heart monitor test (forgot what's its called) and that came back normal too. I always seem tired, mildly achy, mildly dizzy etc but I get between 6/8 hours sleep a night.
I don't know what it could be and I can't currently go to the doctors as I'm away from home for 4 weeks but I'm pale to the point where people say I look ill, people point out how pale I am and its worrying me. It makes me think I'm deteriorating or something.
I don't know where to begin with trying to sort this out and as I'm so young it worries me.
Could be vitamin D deficiency, get tested or try getting a supplement and see how you feel after a week taking it. Since you mentioned being pale I assume you rarely sunbathe. Vitamin D is one of the most crucial vitamins you need, a deficiency can give you numerous symptoms.
I'm pale too and have eye bags, think it's just my gene's. I have skin concerns though so I tend to cover up and avoid the sun anyway. There are plenty of pale people about so it's not always a sign of illnesses.
Advise your Dr that your paleness is still bothering you in 4 weeks time.
For now + Keep well hydrated as I find that does help and aim for 8 hours sleep. You could try some vitamin c serum for under your eyes. You could always consider getting a light fake tan too for the time being.
I was exactly the same and had the same tests done! Everything was clear but everyone kept asking if I am ill because I look pale!
Turned out I was vitamin D3 deficient. 2 weeks on a very high dose supplement (20,000) and I felt a lot better! Let's fatigued, less tired and muscle pains reduced.
I honestly thought it wouldn't make a difference but it definitely did. Maybe try some supplements?
