is this normal i recently had yeast infection ( which is cured )for the first time in my life. I'm 26 years old . i consulted doctor she examined me saying everything is fine but I'm not satisfied. i doubt this is not serious. there was no such growth earlier and there's no pain or itching.
It looks like Vestibular Papillomatosis, which is a benign/noncontagious growths of skin along the vulva. It isn’t any kind of STD. Some women get them and some don’t and some women have said they’ve only developed these bumps after having a yeast infection or BV. I have it as well and have had it for a while. I feel so unfortunate, but there’s more women who have it than I thought, as I have read many post on here of women who have this. It’s hard to find a lot of info on it through Google, as there hasn’t been much research done on it and I’m assuming that’s because it’s not anything life threatening or seriously problematic for a woman’s health. The articles I read on it says that it is estimated that anywhere between 1-33% of women have this condition. Men also have a form of this condition, which is known as pearly penile papules. It is more common in men with research estimating that between 5% to about 43% of men have this, don’t quote me on that number because I’m not sure if that is completely accurate, it is close though. Anyways, I’m not sure if this will ever go away, maybe so, maybe not. I’ve just been trying to love myself with it and hope that I will find a man that will love me and desire me even though I have this condition.
ya i read about it and whatever you said is same thing written but how can i be normal’ for 26 years of my life there wasn’t any skin change . never did i get any infection even and morever the upper part of the skin colour has even changed and it’s really scaring me. did you get any way to remove those vp or control the vps because for me it has just started I don’t want them to grow more. check the pictures I’m attaching that’s upper surface of the skin has changed the colour
From how long are you facing this issue. for me this just happened a week back and moreover I’ve missed my cycle for last 56 days. so that is something which is scaring me more. in may i had unprotected sex with a guy and after that i got periods very heavy flow i had that time i became very weak that time . after that june it is skipped and july still not got it
in response to both of your comments, I have yet to figure out a way to get rid of this. I’m not sure exactly how long I have had it, but I only just noticed it earlier this year. I also had those under the skin white bumps form, which are known as fordyce spots. I’m not sure why you are just now getting them later in life, have you made any recent diet changes? That could play a part in your development of this condition. Also, some women have said that theirs developed after a yeast infection, so that could be the culprit. I don’t know if curing the infection will get rid of them, maybe? I’m not sure. I feel like mine could have been due to the change in my diet, which I feel weakened my immune system and that has something to do with it. The only reason I feel like my immune system was weakened is because my body isn’t fighting off illnesses like it once did and I’m only 21, so I’m just thinking that this could be a part of the problem. These are all just theories on my part, I’ve begun doing things to boost my immune system and hope to see some improvement. I read a post made by a woman on a different platform and she said that she started going to a naturopath who had her change her diet, cutting out sugar, coffee, wheat, and alcohol, and she says that it seems hers have gotten smaller and smoother. Some women have said that their gyno’s told them that they will have it for life, so I’m not sure honestly whether anything we do will help these go away or not. I’ve also read that the only way to get rid of it is through laser treatment and that’s the only answers I’ve gotten so far from reading other women’s stories and research articles on the matter. Also, if you don’t feel satisfied by what your doctor told you, I would go to a different one, preferably a gynecologist and get a second opinion on the matter, especially because your periods have been so irregular. Have you considered that you may be pregnant?Having an irregular/missed period could indicate that you are pregnant. Sometimes doctors can be quite dismissive, treating you as if you don’t know something is wrong with your own body, but if you have that feeling that something is off you definitely deserve to have this issue addressed and it should be, so please go and get a second opinion and be sure to mention your missed periods.
the way you’re saying diet thing yes there’s alot of changes recently moved back to hometown. and I’m not pregnant got test done today it’s negative. I’ll go for second opinion that’s way better
