Surgery was successful and the vein is free now...but urine was blocked before it..and still blocked..dr. said it's becouse vein was pressed and now its quite narrow..
The surgery took place about 1 and half week ago..She is still in hospital.
I need to know..

Glad to hear that the surgery has released the trapped vein in your mum's back. As for the the urine problem? You say the urine was 'blocked'. Do you mean she cannot get rid of the urine from her bladder and still cannot? If this is the case, her condition is different to urine incontinence which means that the urine cannot be stopped from leaking (or gushing) from the bladder. Maybe you mum needs to have a catheter inserted to empty her bladder until whatever it is that is narrow 'relaxes?' after the surgery. If I were you I would ask for a more detailed explanation from her doctor.

Sorry to hear of your Mom's problem. Have never head of this cause, but you need to press for infomation as to what can be done. Don't be fobbed off it needs to be sorted. Good luck.
