I'm having heart attack symptoms at 16.

Hi,

I've had this chest pain for about 3 weeks and pain in my ribs and where my heart area is. I've stopped smoking hookah 4-5 weeks ago and I've been smoking for about 8 months, I sometimes feel that I'm going to die because I get dizzy a lot everyday, having tinglings in my hand and legs sometimes also in my head (where the brain is), and feeling my chest is heavy and feeling that it's hard to breathe, and I do get a lot of headaches.

Any suggestions?

P.S: I'm 16Y

(Update)

I've been having heart attack symptoms like dizziness, pain in left arm and left hand palm and having neck, jaw pain. I've been to the doctor last week said heart is normal. I've been to chest doctor made X-ray and said it's normal. Pain comes and goes away.

Hiya , are you suffering with anxiety ?

Hi, the symptoms your experiencing are typical anxiety symptoms, you've had a heart checked and chest x-ray and it was fine so don't worry your not having a heart attack.

Good for you giving up the fags, some of your symptoms could be nicotine withdrawal.

I would suggest you try your best to ignore the symptoms and tell yourself it's anxiety.

Its awful how anxiety can make us feel like there is something really serious happening to us. When I had my first panic attack at work , they phoned ambulance cause I was complaining of a chest pain and pain in left arm. All tests came back normal tho.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Yes that's what I thought also that I might have anxiety,

Really hope nothing too serious..

Yes! It is awful.

Sorry to hear that..

How are you feeling now?

Hiya , Im okay , in middle of changing antidepressants. Went cold turkey from mirtazapine to fluoxetine. Just having bad side effects of withdrawl and new medications but I try to think positive that it cant last forever 😊feeling constant nasuea and anxiety is hightened, but nothing I cant manage, so far so good I had pretty good yesterday so hopefully today is going to be the same or even better cause the past 18 days were horrible (thats when doc told me to stop mirtazapine and start fluoxetine) how are you feeling today ?
