Hi Amber,  You have not only classic anxiety symptoms but you also have some that are unusual.  I don't talk about my worst symptoms normally because I don't want other people to worry about the possibility of getting them.  What I call my worst symptoms are symptoms doctors can't explain, they just say it's anxiety.  I have had the one half body thing happen to me many years ago.  Eventually, it went away.  All your other symptoms sound like classic high adrenaline response and perhaps some of it was a side effect of a medication. It happens.

"I have anxiety and I never had anxiety before".  The half body thing was my first symptom too.  I thought this must be a stroke.  You see the commercials to get help right away.  Doctors never could explain this symptom and if you can't explain it how can you diagnose it?  My job is to diagnose things and I always can give answers to why things happened.  Back then my thoughts were, "Yes I have anxiety, my body feels like it is split down the middle and you jerks are telling me to ignore it, wouldn't you have some anxiety if you felt this way."  Anyways eventually I realized that I was always high anxiety but it just felt normal to me.  I thought the anxiety was my personality.  The half body thing was in fact just the first time that I recognized a problem.  The first time I got a real physical symptom.  I now recognize that all my life I had a problem and I try to accept things that I don't like.  Over the years more symptoms came and went.  My only option is to learn more, cut out the b.s. in life when possible, try new things that may help and accept some things with no explanations.  Get help and see the doctors when a new symptom pops up to make sure it's not something else.  I hope this helps you somehow.  Take care.  Ps I got to clarify.  I had other physical symptoms before the half body thing happened.  For instance, as a child, I was sensitive to lights at school and always got headaches.  In my late 20's I could not swallow and that was diagnosed with acid reflux.  Different places I will list my first symptom as something other than the body split down the middle.  Reality is the half body thing is the first symptom that sent me to the ER and gave me a wake-up call.  Looking back I had warning shots that I now recognize as my first symptoms.

The low potassium could be responsible . What is your dr doing about that?

I was wondering if any of the drugs you took or take cause low potassium because some do.

Have you been referred to a neurologist specialising in epilepsy? If not I would definitely ask for a referral. An investigation entails eegs, video telemetry and MRI scan plus careful history taking.

Take care.
