I have a 12mm overy cyst... I this normal or abnormal

I just had a 10x7 cyst and the ovary that it was attached to removed last Friday.

Is it 12 mm or 12 cm?

If it's 12 mm, you don't have to worry. It is a very small cyst that forms normally before ovulation. It will go away with your menstruation. It causes no trouble and almost all women have them and they never know about them.

If it's 12 cm, then you would have to monitor it closely, because 12 cm is a pretty big cyst that might need surgery.
