Hello, after my second pregnancy I've been suffering from severe carpal tunnel syndrome on both hands , after my first injection on my left hand the Symptons are gone but still very bad on my right hand , second injection done but the doctor couldn't even finish the injection off from how bad my nerves are inflamed ... I will have my last visit next week and on the letter says to allow two hours for this visit, can anyone tell me that's this visit is about ??? Please I just want to get rid of this pain!!! Thank very much
If you have not had nerve condition tests they may do this. Otherwise it will just be a general check up to be sure you are fit and infection free for op. Weight, blood pressure and nasal swab.i had my right hand done in April and the relief was fantastic. Hope you have similar results.
good luck.
regards Elaine
Should have read nerve conduction tests, sometimes computers are too clever!,,

I am really interested in knowing what the injections contain. What drug? It is always best to ask the doctor, or at least the doctor's assistant, what the appointment is for, what tests will be done, what preparation you need to make, etc. If it were your child having the appointment, wouldn't you ask these questions? You are the grownup and ultimately it will be your responsibility to know what your doctor is going to do for you.
I do hope you know about endoscopic surgery vs. open surgery, and will discuss this with your doctor. It is also your decision to get another medical opinion if you are not confident with the opinion you already got.
