Its been caused by multiple splinter haemorrhages under the nail…those little black lines.If you only have these on the one nail it may have been caused by damage to that nail years ago but if you have those little black specks on all your finger nails then see your doctor. It can be a symptom of other problems. If you are worried then do see your doctor anyway.
