Hi everyone,

I am almost 19 weeks of posterior THR.  I still have swelling, stiffness and pins and needles feeling in BOTH of my feet.  My surgeon advised me to see a neurologist.  I’m going to bake an appointment tomorrow. I read where some of you had pins and needles feeling.  However, I’d like to know more on how you treated it.  Thank you!

I have lumbar stenosis along with a recent broken hip.  My neurosurgeon identified pins and needles in the feet as a related to stenosis.  However, he also said that the lumbar spine is affected by the hip surgery.  The neurologist is a good idea.  They can do an EMG test to determine the source of the issue

Hi I'm 12'weeks and had pins and needles in both feet but was mainly just at night....maybe because I was not mobile andnthinking about it more....but it is much better now think it takes time......couldn't understand it but they do go in your spine to do the spinal block which I had....think with all of it be patient!!!! Both my thighs hurt and ache after waking, stiff, and after a long walk...

I  had pins and needles once in both feet when I slept with both legs putting pressure on the bottom bed post. It went away after I stopped that pressure Good luck to you!
