I have this weird pains that comes and goes in my bottom right abdomen, center abdomen, left bottom abdomen, in my center upper chest, in between my left and right chest and arms near the armpit, in both my breasts in my neck, some portion in my back, legs, arms and pinky finger, my bicep. Like I'm really scared. I'm 27 and ex smoket for 7 years and i stopped 3 years ago. I've consulted doctor just once and it's last month where he said i had normal chest xray and had allergic rhinitis. I don't know what causes this weird sensations in my body.
Have you had a CT scan? A chest X-ray is useless when it comes to a lot of complaints. You mentioned that you are an ex smoker so there could be an issue with your lungs. A chest CT scan with contrast would show up a lot more problems. I have multiple pulmonary emboli and you wouldn’t know it from a chest X-ray. I had bad abdominal central abdominal pain, that moved all around and made me feel ghastly. I also had trouble taking in deep breaths and used to get these sharp chest pains that would travel to my armpits. I used to feel the cold on my chest and had this weird sensation round my lungs. I also got pins and needles in my hands and feet at night. I was left undiagnosed for years, being told it was anxiety and musculoskeletal pain. Make sure you make a fuss if you think there is something wrong, when it comes to your vital organs like lungs and heart, you can’t be to careful.
did they diagnosed your real condition? doctor won't ct scan you if it is not emergency i think. what I'm experiencing is a 5-10 seconds pain that comes and goes. i hope it's nothing serious.
Yes I had to pay for my CT scan because no one took me seriously, that is when I was told I had to go on blood thinners. You can ask for a D-dimer blood test, that gives a good indication of clots. Are you or have you been on the contraceptive pill? Or have you ever been given any hormonal treatment like IVF?
