I notice my heart rate increase at times, are these palpitations or is it my mind creating it?

I can be laying down watching tv and I will notice my heart beating a little faster than usual . It does make me feel uncomfortable and then I can;t stop thinking about it. Right now my heart feels okay. I have not had any major heart racing yet (touch wood). So just wondering if this is palpitations ? I feel real tired and like I am going to get the flu and yeah. I still can't sleep well rolleyes Blah!

Amba, heart beating differently is so very normal with anxiety. Worrying will just make you more anxious. Tired simply means your body wants rest.

I think you can control that. Once you focus in it and even think its going faster anxiety kicks in and it does.bthe mind is powerful. You arent imagining it just very sensitive and focused on it. The same way when you do slow breathing and think calm down stuff its calms down.
