Since I had my daughter 18 months ago I've not been right. Last 4-8 weeks have been the worst. Sever nausea, Everytime I eat extreme stomach pains so I've stopped eating and regurgitation of liquids. I had GI today didn't even look at me hardly listened and automatically said IBS. I was diagnosed with IBS at 11 years old I know this isn't what it is. Because of nausea etc I've now take an extreme phobia of vomiting . I won't even kiss my children on the lips incase I get a big I've no skin left on my hands due to sanitiser. I'm miserable no energy, grumpy joint aches I'm really ready to give up I can't handle this anymore
Do you get this right after eating or awhile after? Where is your stomach pain?
It's all different. In the Mormon the pain starts right in my stomach the middle then lower. After eating it can be as soon as the food hits the stomach or half an hour after. The pains are like sharo stabbing pains enough to make you drop to your knees
Have you had any tests done? Colonoscopy? Endoscopy? Sounds like it could be an ulcer?
they have done blood tests and samples. I've to have a scan done but all he said today was you have ibs put me on amitriptyline forward me to a dietician. I tried to explain I've had ibs for years and this is so different but he wouldn't listen x
I would definitely try to get a second opinion, sometimes when your diagnosed with one thing you unfortunately are labelled with that for a lifetime
I'm 28 and after my dad not being happy today he went into speak to doctor I've been forwarded for a second opinion, and an urgent scan I just hope it's quick x

Check out SIBO (Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth). You can't live like this. I can understand no energy chasing after an 18-month-old, but SIBO may be the cause of aches and pains and nausea. Though the top symptom is yellow, foul diarrhea.

Good on your dad! There are GPs out there who dont listen and ive been victim to that for a long time. Its horrible. Then i changed and couldnt be happier. Change the GP you see, make a serious formal complaint. If your up to it though.
Dont despair, your going through such a difficult and trying time.. dont give in or give up. Try not to over do the sanitisation ..kids are so reailient they go to school everyday and mix with an entire community of kids that have all sorts of germs and they always stay healthy si i hope that helps.
