How long do I have to go through this ? Since may I've been having a weird feeling down there. Presently I have been itching like crazy and I still have these sharp pains. The itching is above my vagina where the hair is yes I shaved but it normally doesn't itch this much. Do you have to have an outbreak to do a swab test ? Can they just swab the problem area ? I've been going crazy because my blood test results hasn't said much I just want to be put out my mysery. Why is this so long and annoying ? Some of you guys say that I am negative but my dr is saying different. Someone please help I've been trying to live life but it's very hard I just started talking to this great guy but I know one I tell him he will stop talking to me it's already long distance it'll be nothing for him to stop.. now I feel like the dream of having kids is completely out the window I've been so itchy I feel so gross how come not getting an actual breakout but just tingling and itching .... help please !
herpes can present in all different ways, peoples can get actual sores, that look like a blister some people get a rash. Youtube herpes 101 really helpful information. you can get a swob test and a blood test a swob would be best because a lot of people can have the herpes virus in their system but never have an outbreak.
having kids is in no way out the window. this was my fear and i spoke to my doctor and he advised the only way you can really pass it onto your child during birth and it turns out bad is if you have an outbreak and have a natural birth and it can grow around the babies eyes. he said if it's that bad a c section is always optional.
get a swob test to double confirm you have the virus, don't stress yourself out now if you don't 100% know if it just be you have an allergy to a soap or something your using, if your not already maybe try cotton underwear it's very breathable for down there xx
Can they swab if there is no lesion ? Can it still spread ?
