Hi, I'm looking for someone to talk to who knows generalised anxiety and depression well.
Hi, I am severe anxiety which actually makes me feel ill. If you need to talk you can pm me
Are you based in the uk?
‘I have’
33yo Male here that has suffered with anxiety most of my life. that includes extreme sensitivities to foods and medicines and a close detail of how things react to my body. It also includes physical reactions to anxiety like palpitations, twitching, pain, heat flashes, left body numbness, nerve sensitivity, etc on top of the mental aspect where some attacks last for weeks at a time. I lost my six figure career and am searching for who I am. -Broke with a family, and afraid to work because it might trigger another long attack. -So.. I feel your pain and I’m always here to talk.
Been there, done that. Doing it again without any help of meds. Ugh! Feel free to pm me. I rarely leave the house, and would love to talk with you to help take my mind off of my own bs.
Hang in there!
Thanks for your replies everyone. I typed out what the problem is where I’m struggling with. It became a really long story, but to really understand what’s going on I couldn’t make it shorter. It has a total of over 1700 words. Can you send me a direct message if you can take the time for it to read it all? I would really appreciate a listing ear and someone who could give me advice. Of course I am open to help other people as well if I can.
Can you explain your heat flashes. As a middle aged woman, I am confused as to whether my heat flashes are due to anxiety or perimenopause.
ive suffered from anxiety for years and when its bad i can barely function.
The heat flashes were typically at the onset of an attack. Most of the time it’s a feeling that comes up the spine, neck, then shoulders. I have anxiety worse at night, so the onset would usually come near bed time. Some times it is my entire body that just feels hot, but that’s on more rare occasions.
Everyone is different and we all experience the reprimandations of anxiety differently- both mentally and physically.
I hope this can help you.
Hi. I’ve suffered with anxiety/panic attacks since 2005. I also get terrible symptoms but the first indication that I’m about to have a panic attack is the warm feeling up my spine into my neck followed by extremely fast heartbeat, then the trouble to breathe would start. Hands shaking and numbness and tingling sets in after that. At that point it feels like I’m going to die. I’ve managed to live a normal life by taking fluoxitine daily and azor when I feel an attack is about to happen. It is for me worse at night also, especially when I fall asleep and suddenly wake up.
