I recently had an eye problem, help!

Well on both of my eyes in similar locations on the inner side of the white of the eye I had grown 2 small darkish dots and I’m concerned, can anyone tell me just from that description what it might be?

Are you saying you no longer have the dark spots? Someone such as an optician needs to see them to tell you what they are because your description is too general

No the dark spots are still there, they are slightly uncomfortable and have appeared after certain substance use, “weed” i suppose the effected heart rate it open up new veins or something???

Although that may only be a coincidence!

This isn’t my eye but it’s the closest image I could find to what I have

Sounds to me like pinguecula

What on Earth is this. I googled it and all the info is in Spanish. What is the English equivalent?

Are you in a sunny country or often out in the sun without sunglasses? It could be just pigment that has formed like a freckle. However if these have appeared very suddenly over a few weeks you need to get an optician or doctor to have a look.

It is a raised yellow or brown bump that tends to happen to people who spend a lot of time outdoors. They do not typically cause any problems. Some people might notice a little dryness or feel the bump and can use lubricating eye drops. Pinguecula is the english version : )

Hello again, I live in Australia but that being said, spend a considerable amount of time at my computer, https://drive.google.com/open?id=1D-WjFQSidylBFv4iG_uL_qgw_l-2ILXy here’s a picture of my eye, I haven’t seen anything like it anywhere online and I’m quite terrified, I am due to see a doctor on Thursday who is in doubtibly going to refer me to the optometrist near me, but till then I hope you could all give me a clear description if any of you have information on the topic.

Oh it also might be worth note that it appeared out of no where and seems to be growing? The ones on my other eye are similar but not perfectly simertrical, they are smaller and slightly mis placed from the bigger ones

Keep in mind there are 4, 2 for each eye, similar in placement, 2 are smaller (not by much)

Now I have seen your picture it does look like  a pinguecula. If it is,they are benign but may grow and can cause irritation,so in the mean time do use something like Artificial tears eye drops. Also called Hypromellose drops. Dont use Optrex eye wash.

You should certainly see a specialist to get a proper diagnosis.
