i started antiviral too late, will it still help?

i didn’t start my antiviral until after 72 hours of my first rash. probably around 100 hours. my rashes now have blisters, and new blisters forming as well. has anyone else started after 72 hours and still had their medicine help at all? hopefully it will still help.
