I am two wks post op. I often feel a “pull” over the bladder, not painful. And a quick burn at urethral opening when urine starts. Both seem signs of healing but should be discussed and checked at two wk. appt. when urinalysis is done. If chills and fever, call Doc. I was on antibiotic for 7 days with catheter.
btw, my experience has been relatively good, little pain, minimal spotting and nearly ready to get on with my life! With a few restrictions of course😊
D mannose powder is Amazon for uti.
The bacteria (ecoli) bond to the powder and is flushed out.
I use it and have had success with it hun.
Sweetcures is the websitexx
I meant amazing not Amazon😂😂
Hi Cherryl
Do you have this UTI feeling all the time.
I am 8 weeks post op and for a few weeks when I walk I feel uncomfortable, like I wanna pee but I know the bladder is empty, when I stand is fine.
It's the same feeling like before mine first anterior surgery, also the flow is different.
Kind regards
Agnes
hi Cheryl I thought after urgent need to wee was a UTI but it turned out to be an infection of my wound site, so you should get it checked I've been lucky from what I've read on here as far as after care goes as I can ring the ward for advice and or a quick check if I'm worried. I'm now at week four but constantly worry about the fact I'm still very swollen underneath so if by week 6 it still showing no sign of the swelling going down will be of back to the ward to ask. Do hope you are sorted now
