Yes all at once but also 10 50mg tramadol if I don't I don't get to sleep. I saw my doctor about this he said I shouldn't take that much as it is overdosing but I said what should I do instead he couldn't answer me so I have come on here to see if there are any better answers than my (stupid(my opinion)) doctor. I have been in mental hospital because I had meds stopped and tried to hack my own foot of because pain got so bad I was there for a whole day because they said they understood it was not done because I was nuts but in great pain and was over three years ago now.

Now must also state my hands are now being affected and pain is so intense most nights I am in tears.

This pain sounds very intense, my girlfriend suffers from something similar. Do you know what is causing your pain? Have you ever tried any alternatives to the gabapentin such as acupuncture, herbs, vitamins etc?

It is neuropathy the pain can come in loads of forms sometimes it is constant pins and needles a lot of the time my feet are so cold 16.5c even when wrapped in my heated blanket. I have tried acupuncture and also tried garlic tablets and vitamin D + B to no avail. I hope this is a bit of help just because it has not worked for me don't give up and if you find anything please inform me

I just had nerve pain begin in foot and hand. Even with 2400 milligrams of gabapentin the pain gets bad. I have tried trazadone, what helps a bit for sleep is Advil pm. I am going crazy, this is changing my whole life. We don't even know the cause. I need suggestions too.

My girlfriend is still suffering from these pains, and things seem to be progressing over the last 6 months. She has had an MRI and it was clear, and now about 20 different blood tests looking for all sorts of causes of peripheral neuropathy. Have either of you had blood tests like this? How is the management of your pain? I will keep you in the loop if we find any solutions.

PS; she has recently increased her dosage of gapapentin to 1500mg/day and 10mg amitriptyline. Have you tried these drugs?

Marlene, Advil pm contains both ibuprofen, and the sleep aid diphenhydramine citrate. Have you tried taking these separately? The reason being that if its the ibuprofen giving you relief than your pain may be associated with inflammation?
