I have been told by a neurologist (as I was having migraines) that a low dose of tricyclic anti-depressants can help ease chronic pain. I'm sure this is what your dr has in mind. It has helped my headaches:ok:

I too have put on over a stone in about 6 weeks after being prescribed dosulepin. I thought I was just being a greedy pig, but its nice to know that its probably not my fault. Thinking about going back on to Fluoxetine - didnt seem to have that problem on that.
