I think I gave myself genital HSV1

Hello, I want to start by saying that I’m 16 and have never had sex. I’ve had cold sores my whole life, but they’ve become worse over the past year. My entire face swells every time I get an outbreak, which makes it difficult not to touch. Right now I’m having one of the worst oral outbreaks I’ve ever had.

Then, earlier today, I discovered that my labia is swollen and looks like it’s developing blisters. From what I’ve read, I think I accidentally gave myself genital HSV1.

It’s definitely not HSV2 because I’m a virgin. I’m freaking out and have no idea what to do next. Help?!

I don't think it's hsv at all, you can't give yourself genital hsv,

It's a necessity to see a doctor sooner.

...this is actually not true. In very rare cases HSV can be passed to other parts of the body. Now, I doubt this is the issue Holly and you should see a doctor as Aahmad pointed out. It could just be as something simple as a yeast infection.

If you have not been, perhaps test yourself to confirm HSV1 (Herpes Simplex Virus 1) - which commonly causes cold sores.  It is a simple blood test.  About 70% of the population has this virus and it is possible that you could have contracted it from a grandparents kiss when you were younger.... but your body should suppress the virus at some point, unless it is triggered by something (stress, weakness in your immune system, etc.).

There are viral suppression drugs you can take (talk to your doctor of appropriate given your age and you are confirmed to have HSV1) but also some natural things you could try as well such as  L-lysine (supplement), zinc, vitamin C to help fight the outbreaks.
