im 22, ive been getting headaches on the right side of my head for a bout two years now. ive been to several doctors they always tell me its soemthing minor. well my headaches haven gotten worse. to tye point over the counter medication doesnt help. today i went to an urgent care and the doctor told me he thought i was having cluster headaches. no mri no nothing. now certain things do trigger it. drinking cold drinks, loud noises, light. etc i think it may be a tumor simply because the right side of my head is slightly bigger than the left, and my hair is thinned out in the area where it hurts its growing back but very slow. im really scared. someone please help.
i have had daily headaches for years and migraines that can get so bad that i spend the whole night throwing up. i recently got an MRI and it was clear and i once had part of my head swollen and it hurt so bad i went to the ER. they did an MRI then too and my brain was fine it was just a swollen lymph node on my head and all they said was that it’ll go away and may swell again in the future but if it becomes a problem i could get it removed. so don’t think worst case scenario quite yet but you can ask your doctor to do an MRI to rule it out. and i mean youre the patient, if you want a test done then tell your doctor, you are the one paying for it whether the doc thinks you need it or not, if it gives you peace of mind then why not. oh and im a 22 year old female with what seems like health issues just adding on to each other so i feel your anxiety and pain
